Good food. It's busy here, and the gift shop is a bit of a madhouse, but lots of fun. The service was nice, and one waitress even stopped by all the tables to ask if we'd join her in singing happy birthday to her mom who was sitting at another table. The whole place joined in. You can't beat that level of family atmosphere.
Whenever I travel to Kenosha, I always stop at cracker barrel! A franchise that is consistent and delicious. I've never been disappointed in the food or fast friendly service. Yes there are times waiting to be seated seems long, but trolling through the gift shop or playing checkers in the outside chairs makes the time go by faster. The shop has unique gifts for all ages and has travel games as well.
This is normally a great location but for some reason they were very slow tonight. It took close to 30 minutes to get our food and it wasn't that busy. I was not impressed with either the meat loaf or the mac and cheese. Staff was friendly and polite however.
I love going to cracker barrel. Wonderful food (breakfast is my favorite). The gift shop is unique. The best part is the prices are resonable. Family friendly too.
We checked in for our group of 5 and told the wait would be 40 minutes. We knew it was a long wait but have always had a great time here so felt it was worth it. We were sat after 45 minutes which isn't bad. However, we were sat at a table that should seat 2 and they were trying to set for 4 and tried to seat 5 of us by putting an extra chair in the walkway and blocking it. We couldn't open our menus even and knew we wouldn't be able to fit food and drinks. We asked for a table that could fit us, when we sat there were 3 large open tables. They told us it would be another 20-30 minutes to get a table. We ended up leaving after almost an hour wait without eating. I'm not an online review leaves, but I am very upset.
