One of the best grocery stores around! The prices are great, the selection is fantastic! Do you have a great produce section. They have a great frozen food section. They have a great cheese and dairy section. One bad thing about the store is it's freaking huge! It can take a long time to get around. One really cool thing is they have some milk up by the front so you don't have to go all the way in the back corner like you do everywhere else, although MOST of the milk is in the back corner like everywhere else.
If you haven't been to Woodman's your missing out!! They have everything you could imagine and then some. If you're a drinker, the wine, beer and spirits section has great variety. If you love ethnic foods, your in for a treat! The organic & natural foods section is huge and full of a variety of choices for every person, from vegan to vegetarian, to gluten free. Woodman's prices are excellent, you won't be disappointed. I know many people from the Chicago suburbs that make a monthly trip to Woodman's for their shopping needs.

Just be aware that they don't take credit cards as part of their pricing strategy. They also provide manufacturer's coupons taped directly to the shelf. Their liquor department is the largest I've ever seen too! They're also an easy company to support with the way they take care of their employees.
One of the largest stores in the country, it's over 250,000 square feet. If they don't have it, you probably can't get it in this part of the world. The cheese section alone takes up 3 aisles, because Wisconsin. The liquor section is bigger than many grocery stores. they sell 50 different brands of frozen pizza. The produce section goes on for days. The Organic and Gluten free sections are bigger than at Whole foods.
We love Woodman's and travel from Illinois to buy here as there are NO TAXES on food. They have a huge selection of everything (for instance, a whole aisle of just cheese, a dozen brands of k-cup coffee, at least 6 brands of microwave popcorn). They do not accept credit cards. The lines can be long but do move quickly. Go late at night for a more relaxed shopping experience.
On top of that, Woodman's is an Employee owned chain. Everyone has a stake in the company, employees are treated well, and the prices beat out nearly every other store including Walmart.
